Al-Ahly drew with their rival Zamalek 2-2 on Sunday in a postponed match from the 20th round of the Egyptian Premier League. Mohamed Sherif scored the first goal for Al-Ahly in the 12th minute, followed by Zamalek responding with two goals from Moroccan Achraf Bencharki and Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala in the 68th and 76th minutes, respectively. Ten minutes before the end of the match, Salah Mohsen equalized for Al-Ahly with a stunning header. With this result, Zamalek maintained their lead in the Egyptian Premier League with 45 points from 21 matches, four points ahead of Al-Ahly, who is in third place but has only played 18 matches.
