Qualified Teams for the Qatar World Cup

The Wales national team secured the last of the 13 European spots for the World Cup scheduled to take place in Qatar in November and December of this year, after defeating Ukraine in the European playoff on Sunday. Wales joins the teams from the Netherlands, England, Poland, France, Denmark, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Serbia, Switzerland, and Portugal, which will represent Europe in the Qatar World Cup. Wales will play in Group B during the group stage of the 2022 World Cup, alongside Iran, the United States, and England.

Here are the teams that have qualified so far for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar:

- Host country: Qatar (Asia).

- Europe: Germany, Denmark, France, Belgium, Croatia, Spain, Serbia, England, Switzerland, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Wales.

- South America: Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay.

- Asia: Iran, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia.

- CONCACAF (North and Central America and the Caribbean): Canada, Mexico, United States.

- Africa: Ghana, Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Cameroon.

Two international playoffs for the remaining spots (June 13 and 14): Peru vs. Australia/UAE, New Zealand vs. Costa Rica.
