Free Patriotic Movement Denies This Narrative: No Contact or Communication

A statement was issued by the Media and Communication Committee of the Free Patriotic Movement, denying a fabricated narrative published in Al-Diyar newspaper. The narrative claimed that the head of the movement, MP Gebran Bassil, informed Prime Minister Najib Mikati that the movement would name him if the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia adopted the option of Ambassador Nawaf Salam. The movement categorically denies this narrative, affirming that no contact or communication has taken place with Mikati.
