Saudi Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine this Saturday evening.
This follows a few hours after King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, received his first dose of the vaccine on Friday. This step is aimed at encouraging citizens and residents to expedite their vaccination registration, as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is providing the vaccine free of charge to all citizens and residents.
Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his continuous support for the welfare of citizens and residents in the Kingdom since the onset of the pandemic. It is noteworthy that the vaccination distribution process will be organized in three phases, each targeting specific groups.
