Lebanese artist Maya Diab expressed her wish for the church to unite with a collective decision from all Christians.
The Lebanese artist Maya Diab tweeted through her personal account: "In the most difficult circumstances our country Lebanon is experiencing politically, economically, security-wise, and health-wise, I have a wish and a plea for the church to unite with a collective decision from all Christians in Lebanon, even if it cannot unite globally. The love and the word 'God' unite the Christians in our country." She added: "I wish from my heart that we can convey our message and request to all the church leaders: Lebanon at this time specifically is in desperate need for us to be one hand, one prayer, and one word... Remember, O human, that you are from dust and to dust you shall return... Blessed fasting."
Maya Diab also shared with her followers through the Stories feature on her social media page photos with Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan during their meeting in Dubai, commenting on one photo with the phrase, "Indeed, mafia," and adding a heart emoji to the second. Her fans reacted to the photos, asking if they could collaborate on a joint work, pointing out that they would artistically complement each other.
It is worth mentioning that Maya Diab's latest work is the song "Doub," in which she collaborated with Egyptian composer Madin, with lyrics by Amir Taima and music distribution by Hadi Sharara.
