Title: Brazil Team Captain Advises Neymar to Leave Paris

Brazilian international defender Thiago Silva has advised his compatriot and teammate Neymar to leave Paris Saint-Germain and join him at Chelsea. Silva, who previously played with Neymar at PSG under German coach Thomas Tuchel, who is currently in charge of Chelsea, stated to Brazilian media: "Neymar should go to Chelsea; if that happens, it will be better. I don't know anything about Neymar's future, but I hope that happens."

Neymar's future remains uncertain after French and Spanish media reported that PSG intends to part ways with him this summer. Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently declined to confirm whether Neymar would be part of the club's plans for the 2022-2023 season. Moreover, some reports suggest that one of the conditions put forth by French coach Zinedine Zidane before accepting to manage PSG next season is to get rid of the Brazilian star.

Neymar's performance has significantly declined since moving to PSG in 2017, and he has missed many important matches for the club due to recurring injuries, managing to play only 22 matches last season, during which he scored 13 goals. Chelsea is one of the few clubs capable of offering Neymar a substantial salary, as he currently earns about £24 million a year at PSG, with his contract lasting until 2025. Chelsea is also keen on acquiring a new striker this summer following the departure of their top scorer, Belgian Romelu Lukaku, to Inter on loan.
