Canada Qualifies for the Qatar World Cup After 36 Years

The Canadian national team achieved a significant victory against Jamaica, winning 4-0 in their match held at BMO Field in Toronto, as part of the 13th round of the third stage of the CONCACAF qualifiers for the "Qatar 2022" World Cup. Player Cyle Larin scored the first goal for Canada in the 13th minute, followed by his teammate Tajon Buchanan, who added the second goal in the 44th minute. The Canadian team strengthened its lead in the second half with two more goals scored by Junior Hoilett and Adrian Mariappa (own goal) in the 83rd and 87th minutes, respectively. With this result, Canada raised its tally to 28 points at the top of the CONCACAF qualifiers, officially securing its qualification for the "Qatar 2022" World Cup after a 36-year absence from the global football stage.
