Lebanese media personality Dima Sadek was devastated by the death of her mother today, Tuesday, announcing the sad news through her official social media pages.
Dima posted a picture of herself with her mother on Twitter, captioning it: "O spirit of my soul... my spirit went with you."
Sadek received condolences from her colleagues in the media, notably from journalist Wafa Al-Kilani, who commented: "My dear Dima, stay strong. May God grant you patience, have mercy on her, forgive her, and grant her the highest paradise." Meanwhile, Raba’a Al-Zayyat commented: "May God have mercy on her and comfort your hearts," and actor Youssef Al-Khal wrote: "May God have mercy on her and keep your family safe."
On another note, Dima Sadek recently joined MTV and expressed her happiness about this new step, considering MTV the leader in freedoms in Lebanon.
