Jumblatt from Ain al-Tineh: I Do Not See a War

Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt visited the Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri in Ain al-Tineh, accompanied by former minister Ghazi Al-Aridee. After the meeting, Jumblatt expressed hope in a statement that "the American assistance for the army and security forces that we were promised will come." He reminded of the "framework agreement that Berri called for, from which we deviated, wasting time, and then returned to it. We hope for a little work, calmness, and rationality; the future may improve, and that some parties will not impose impossible conditions regarding government formation." Regarding the rallies launched by Hezbollah yesterday, Jumblatt pointed out that "the enemy is not lacking in using Lebanese airspace, and there are rules of the game; the enemy uses Lebanese airspace, but I do not see a war."
