The Dragão Stadium will host the match between Portuguese club Porto and Italian club Juventus in the second round of the Champions League tomorrow, Wednesday.
The Juventus team arrived in Portugal following the completion of the team's training session held today, Tuesday, at their training center in Italy. The team will enter a closed camp prior to the anticipated match against Porto tomorrow.
Juventus head coach Andrea Pirlo announced the squad that traveled to Portugal, which consists of the following players:
- Goalkeepers: Szczesny, Bennnilo, Buffon
- Defenders: Chiellini, De Ligt, Sandro, Danilo, Bonucci, Demiral, Frabotta, De Bardo
- Midfielders: Ramsey, McKennie, Chiesa, Rabiot, Bentancur, Bernardeschi, Fagioli, Kulusevski
- Forwards: Ronaldo, Dybala, and Morata.
Juventus will miss the efforts of Paulo Dybala and Bonucci for the match against Porto. Coach Pirlo emphasized that it will be a challenging match against a very organized team that defends well, comparing their playing style to that of Atlético Madrid.
Andrea Pirlo continued, stating, "We need to be patient with them; we cannot impose our play easily as they have good players for counter-attacks."
Regarding the conditions of Bonucci and Dybala, Pirlo said: "Dybala and Bonucci have been called up, but they are out of the match. We will see Ramsey’s condition. They will travel with us because they want to be with the team."
Pirlo concluded by mentioning, "Morata plays alongside Ronaldo, and both are available for tomorrow's match. Kulusevski is also ready, and I hope we deliver our best performance tomorrow."
