Egyptian star Rania Youssef revealed that she has failed in her marital relationships and no longer finds the idea appealing.
Rania advised young people not to get married before the age of 30, because after 30, individuals are more mature and aware of their responsibility. She stated during a television interview: "I have not achieved success in my previous marriages, and marriage is only successful when both persons accept each other's flaws before their qualities." She added: "I will never marry again, and if I fall in love, I will continue the love story without marriage because for me, marriage was about family and children. I already have two daughters, and I don't need to ruin any love story with marriage again. The pressure of marriage spoils any love story, and if I had the choice not to marry again, I wouldn't have married. However, our Arab society imposes marriage on women for the sake of their reputation."
Earlier, an Egyptian court set a date for Rania Youssef’s trial on February 21, for allegedly committing the crime of public indecency and contempt of religion, following remarks she made about her charms at film festivals, which sparked widespread controversy. Rania commented on her referral to trial, saying: "I trust the Egyptian judiciary and I am at its service at any time."
