Matthias Sammer revealed in media statements reported on Wednesday that Manchester City made a significant offer for the Norwegian striker, saying: "I almost lost consciousness when I learned about Manchester City's offer for Haaland." He continued: "I nearly had a stroke when I saw the numbers; I can't even count them."
English reports mentioned that Manchester City is prepared to pay Haaland €594,000 per week. Haaland has scored 23 goals in 21 matches for Borussia Dortmund in all competitions this season, along with 6 assists.
