Syrian artist Sawsan Mikhaeel expressed her deep dissatisfaction and sadness over her current situation during a special interview on the "Drama Diaries" platform.
The Syrian actress broke down in tears while discussing loneliness, indicating that she needs a partner to support her and stand by her in life. Mikhaeel clarified that despite having relatives around her, the feeling of loneliness has not left her, stating: "I want someone to spend the rest of my life with."
She mentioned that she has experienced countless betrayals and expressed her astonishment at the matter, believing that all men are unfaithful, though some take longer to show their betrayal; this has led her to distrust anything said to her. Mikhaeel added that she does not accept betrayal in any form, especially since women have also started to cheat and justify it to themselves because of difficult economic conditions.
Mikhaeel continued that a man's financial situation matters to her to some extent, explaining: "If I have money, I can buy fuel for heating and go back and forth; but if a man has no money, what good is he to me on the basis that he will keep me warm? That's just talk."
She also spoke out about directors who take fees from some artists to allow them to participate in important works, expressing this by saying: "There are directors who take money to cast artists, and there are directors who openly request gifts. For example, an artist wanting to act and prove their presence might give the director five million to appear in a few important scenes." Mikhaeel added that the situation for directors who remained in Syria is similar to that of actors in terms of financial issues, which is the reason for the existing disarray.
