A police officer was killed and another injured in a stabbing attack in the Belgian capital, Brussels. A Belgian judicial official suspects that this attack may be linked to terrorism. Belgian police announced that the suspected attacker was shot dead and "neutralized" following the stabbing incident, stating that "one of our patrols was attacked with a knife, then the two police officers called for reinforcements, and an officer from another patrol used his firearm to neutralize the attacker." It was reported that "the two police officers and the attacker were transported to the hospital," before one of the officers succumbed to his injuries.
