The Iraqi Ministry of Oil stated in a statement today, Thursday, that "Iraq and Jordan have agreed to renew the contract to export ten thousand barrels per day starting from May of this year and for a duration of one year." The statement noted that "this announcement came after a meeting between Iraqi Minister of Oil Hayyan Abdul-Ghani and Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al-Kharabsheh in Baghdad today."
