Milan Officially Extends Coach Pioli's Contract

AC Milan, the third-place team in the Italian football league and the reigning champion, has announced the extension of coach Stefano Pioli's contract until June 2025. This contract renewal comes just before the Lombardy team hosts Austrian side Salzburg in the final group stage match of the UEFA Champions League. Pioli, 57, has the opportunity to lead Milan to the knockout stage of the prestigious competition for the first time since the 2013-2014 season, where the team has won the title seven times. Milan only needs a draw against Salzburg to secure the second spot in Group E and follow Chelsea, the group leader.
