Decline in U.S. Factory Orders in February

The U.S. Department of Commerce reported today, Tuesday, that factory orders fell by 0.7 percent after a 2.1 percent decrease in January. Economists surveyed by Reuters had expected a 0.5 percent decline in factory orders. Factory orders rose by three percent year-over-year in February.
