Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi of Paris Saint-Germain expressed support for his Spanish teammate, Sergio Ramos, following the shock exclusion from the 2022 World Cup. The list of players selected by Spain’s coach Luis Enrique for the World Cup did not include the former captain of "La Roja."
Achraf Hakimi tweeted, “Sergio Ramos is the best defender in the world.” Hakimi has a strong relationship with Ramos (36 years old), having played together at Real Madrid during the 2016-2017 season.
Unlike Ramos, Hakimi will be participating in the World Cup with Morocco, which is in Group F alongside Croatia, Belgium, and Canada.
