China's special envoy to the Middle East indicated today, Thursday, that the country is concerned about the escalating tensions between Israel and the Palestinians and urges all parties, especially Israel, to exercise restraint. He added in a statement published by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the international community must take substantial actions to find a quick and appropriate solution to the Palestinian issue.
