Attempted Armed Robbery Foiled at Currency Exchange Company

While the owner of a currency exchange company in Sidon, located in the Janblat building in the city center, was about to open the door of the establishment to resume work, he was surprised by a masked man threatening him with a weapon, demanding that he hand over all the money in the company. One of the employees quickly fired shots in the direction of the assailant, missing him, which allowed the assailant to escape. The gunfire resulted in the shattering of the glass at the currency exchange counter inside the company. Security forces arrived at the scene and began their investigation into the incident.
