Customs officials at Rafic Hariri International Airport foiled a smuggling operation in a surprise and effective action, intercepting a quantity of cocaine weighing one and a half kilograms, cleverly hidden inside a hand-carried musical instrument, a guitar. This was with a traveler arriving from Ecuador via Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines flight. The violating traveler was detained and handed over to the relevant authorities as directed by the judiciary.
