Report on Tesla Ending Battery Supply Agreement… BYD Denies

The Chinese electric vehicle and battery manufacturer BYD has denied a media report stating that the American company Tesla has ended its agreement with the Chinese company for battery supply. The Korea Economic Daily reported on Sunday, citing industry sources, that Tesla did not request BYD to supply an additional quantity of batteries for certain Tesla Model 3 vehicles after the supply agreement between them ended earlier this year. BYD pointed out in a statement to Reuters that "the report does not align with the actual situation."
