Video Documents the Incident... Campaigns to Close Accounts of Saz Al-Qahtani After Her Death

After the death of Saudi Saz Al-Qahtani, a popular Snapchat figure, several social media activists have launched campaigns to shut down the late young woman's accounts on TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest. This came after the management of the accounts refused to delete them, claiming they did not violate any policies.

Tala Safwan, one of the activists on TikTok, stated that she contacted the management to close Saz's account, but they rejected her request on the grounds that the account was compliant and they had not received any complaints about it. Consequently, Tala urged Saz's fans to go to her account and file a report, choosing the reason as "death of the account owner," hoping that the management would respond and close the account, according to Al-Arabiya net.

It is worth mentioning that a horrific traffic accident claimed the life of Saudi Saz Al-Qahtani on Wednesday evening on Al-Orouba road in Riyadh. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of Saudi tweeters shared the news of her death, and the hashtag #Saz_Al-Qahtani trended on Twitter. Many followers mourned her, expressing their deep sorrow over her fate.

Her close friend Najwa Al-Abdullah previously revealed that "Saz was driving at a high speed, reaching 230 km/h, and thus the accident occurred," adding that she "died at the time of the accident." She also addressed the rumors circulating about the causes of the accident, stating: "All the rumors being spread are false, and the girl died in an accident," pointing out that "everyone just wants to create trends with these rumors."

Additionally, before her death, Saz posted a video on TikTok discussing death, where she imitated a child's voice and repeated the phrase "death or humiliation," in response to her family's objections to her excessive speeding while driving. She commented on the video: "When my family says to slow down, or else we will take your car." She also shared several photos from her last photoshoot on the day of the accident.
