The official account of the social media site "Twitter" announced that things have returned to normal after an outage affected external links on the platform this Monday evening. Twitter faced technical issues as users saw an "error" message when trying to click on links belonging to external sources. The platform had issued a statement saying: "Some parts of Twitter may not be functioning as expected at this time. We made an internal change that had some unintended consequences. We are working on this now and will share an update when it is fixed."
