Information Agency Foils Smuggling of 10 Million Captagon Pills to Saudi Arabia and Senegal

The Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Bassam Mawlawi, announced via his Twitter account: "The Information Division has thwarted the preparation of a smuggling operation of approximately 10 million Captagon pills concealed in a shipment of rubber carbon from Lebanon to Senegal and then to Saudi Arabia." He stated, "Based on information received by the Division’s leadership regarding the wanted individual J. Sh. preparing for the smuggling, the Division was able to identify the members of the network and the storage location of the goods in the Al-Qoubbeh area - Tripoli."
