Iraqi Parliament Interrogates Education Minister for Financial Violations

The media office of the Iraqi Parliament announced that a request has been received to interrogate the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Al-Jabouri. The office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the Speaker of the Parliament has received a request submitted by MP Akram Al-Asaf, supported by 116 other MPs, to interrogate Minister of Education Ibrahim Nams Yassin Al-Jabouri for committing financial and administrative violations and waste of public funds."
