China Monitors Movement of American Aircraft Over Taiwan Strait

Chinese warplanes tracked the movement of an American military aircraft, specifically a P-8A Poseidon, as it passed over the Taiwan Strait today, according to the Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese military. A spokesperson for the command pointed out that "recently, American ships and aircraft have engaged in provocative activities repeatedly, which fully demonstrates that the United States is working to undermine peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait."
