Russian Grain Union: Black Sea Agreement No Longer Holds Value for Moscow

The head of the Russian Grain Union stated today, Monday, that "the grain export agreement via the Black Sea no longer brings any positive outcomes for Russia or helps facilitate supplies to the global market." Moscow has frequently criticized the agreement, which was brokered by Turkey and the United Nations last July, and has indicated that it will withdraw from it on May 18 if Western restrictions hindering Russia's agricultural and fertilizer exports are not addressed.
