UN Secretary-General to Visit Ukraine: The Reason?

UN Secretary-General António Guterres will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv tomorrow, Wednesday, to discuss the extension of an agreement with Moscow that allows for the export of Ukrainian grain via the Black Sea amid the ongoing war waged by Russia in the country. UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stated today, "The Secretary-General has just arrived in Poland and is on his way to Ukraine," adding that Guterres will discuss the extension of the agreement "in all its aspects and other related issues."
