Authorities have evacuated hundreds of people from residential areas along the southern bank of the Dnipro River in Ukraine on Tuesday, after water from the breached Kakhovka Dam flowed in, inundating streets and squares. The mayor stated that the water level rose by more than 11 meters, and some residents were transferred to hospitals. Additionally, the Kherson regional administration reported preparations for evacuations from three areas: "Nova Kakhovka," "Golu Prystan," and "Olishki." Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, an official in the Ukrainian military administration in Kherson, noted, "We have evacuated about a thousand people, and we have about 50 buses operating between Kherson and the affected villages. We also have four sites in Kherson ready to accommodate those being evacuated."
