A report has indicated that Paris Saint-Germain star, Argentine Lionel Messi, whose contract ends with his current club on June 30, 2023, is on the radar of Saudi club Al Hilal. According to the website "Koora," the club's management is determined to acquire Messi after rival Al Nassr managed to sign Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo this winter, despite reassurances regarding the 2022 World Cup champion (Messi) nearing a contract renewal with Paris. Al Hilal's management is currently working to lift the transfer ban imposed on the club due to the case involving Mohammed Kanu, which they lost to Al Nassr, in order to strengthen the team's roster ahead of the Club World Cup set to take place in Morocco next month. Additionally, Al Hilal is in discussions with some close contacts of Messi, and the Saudi club has prepared a massive contract for the Argentine star, which will be presented immediately should the ban be lifted.
