Ambassador Walid Bukhari expressed his confidence in the will and aspirations of the Lebanese people to overcome crises, "especially since Lebanon has accustomed us to its resilience in facing crises and its ability to recover from them." Bukhari's comments came after his meeting with the head of the Kataeb Party, Sami Gemayel, in Al-Sayfi, where they discussed the latest developments in the region and Lebanon, particularly the presidential file. They emphasized the necessity of electing a president as soon as possible, someone capable of accompanying the current phase Lebanon is going through and addressing all issues to extricate the country from its crises and break its isolation from the world. For his part, Gemayel stressed the importance of everyone taking responsibility and moving immediately to elect a president who can unite the Lebanese and save Lebanon.
