Sisi and Al-Sudani Discuss Bilateral Relations

The Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, emphasized the importance of maturing joint work with Egypt to address various challenges and crises, and achieve integration in several fields, contributing to sustainable development for both countries and the mutual interests of their peoples. For his part, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, during his meeting with Al-Sudani today at the Ittihadiya Palace in Cairo, expressed Egypt's desire to expand cooperation with Iraq across various sectors within a long-term partnership that enhances development "for all brotherly and friendly peoples." Sisi also appreciated Iraq's role and efforts in supporting the stability of the region and maintaining security. The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries, which are witnessing significant progress on different levels, and addressed key regional and international issues of mutual interest. The meeting reaffirmed the continuation of mutual cooperation and translating it into tangible actions to enhance the partnership between the two countries.
