Paris Saint-Germain, the champions of France's Ligue 1, announced on Sunday that their goalkeeper Sergio Rico is in intensive care in Spain after being involved in an accident while horse riding. PSG stated: "Paris Saint-Germain has learned of Rico's accident today, and we are in constant communication with his family." The French club confirmed Spanish media reports that Rico, who is the second-choice goalkeeper for PSG, was admitted to the intensive care unit at "Virgen del Rocío" Hospital in Seville. The 29-year-old Spanish goalkeeper joined PSG in 2020 after playing a season on loan with the club.
