Trump Arrived in Manhattan to Give Testimony

Former U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his social media platform (Truth Social) on Thursday that he "has arrived in Manhattan to give a testimony before New York Attorney General Letitia James." Trump stated in another post: "I will finally be able to show the nature of the great, valuable, winning company I built. In fact, it has some of the greatest real estate assets anywhere in the world." James filed a civil lawsuit in a New York State court in Manhattan last September against Trump and his three adult children, accusing them of fraud by manipulating property values to obtain favorable loans and tax benefits. Trump also filed a lawsuit against James after she brought forth her case. In March, Trump requested the court to postpone the deadline for the lawsuit by six months, saying, "That period will allow the necessary time to review the vast amounts of material, including millions of pages of documents, and to hear from dozens of witnesses."
