Russian Official: Continuation of "Anti-Terrorism Operation" in Belgorod

The Governor of the Belgorod region in Russia, Vyacheslav Gladkov, confirmed on Tuesday that an "anti-terrorism operation" is ongoing in the area bordering Ukraine, and that the Ministry of Defense and law enforcement agencies are working to "cleanse" it. Gladkov stated that "air defenses shot down a drone without causing damage or casualties." He wrote on the Telegram app: "Regarding the situation in the Gryazovets area, the Ministry of Defense continues to work alongside law enforcement agencies to cleanse it." He noted that "residents of Gryazovets who temporarily left their homes will not be able to return yet." He mentioned that a woman died during the evacuation on Monday.
