The commentary accompanying the video stated: "It was once unimaginable that the naval forces of the Islamic Republic's Army could operate in the Caspian Sea, but today destroyers are being built on its shores and launched into the water directly." The Iranian army announced the integration of the destroyer "Deylaman" into the northern fleet.
The destroyer "Deylaman" is the fifth in the "Moj" project and was designed and completed under the supervision of the Iranian army's strategic naval forces. With its inclusion, the Iranian fleet now comprises five destroyers: "Jamaran," "Sahand," "Damavand," "Vand".
Notably, the destroyer "Deylaman" is equipped with missile launchers, a platform for launching torpedoes, guns, and machine guns, as well as a defensive system and a system for tracking and controlling maritime attacks. It is capable of carrying various types of radar, and its structure is designed to minimize radar reflection. It features an advanced engine, and the sonar used in it is among the latest types and possesses high accuracy.
