Egypt-Japan Health Cooperation Worth $335 Million

Egyptian Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait signed the executive agreement for the concessional development finance with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) amounting to approximately 44 billion Japanese yen (equivalent to $335.3 million), which supports the country's efforts to achieve universal health coverage for all Egyptian families. This agreement is considered an applied model of the friendship and economic cooperation between the two countries and aims to enhance development efforts in Egypt, according to a statement from the Ministry of Finance.
