Taiwan: China Strengthens Air Force on the Coast Opposite the Island

The Taiwanese Ministry of Defense indicated on Tuesday that "China is enhancing its air force on the coast opposite the island by deploying new fighter jets and drones at air bases that are being permanently expanded." The ministry stated in its national defense report: "China is using maneuvers and realistic combat training to bolster its readiness against Taiwan." It added: "Chinese communists are completing the expansion of airports along the eastern and southern coasts to establish a command center and reorganize fighter jets and drones for permanent deployment there."
