Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated today, Monday, that a void is forming in the field of arms control due to the deterioration of relations among several countries, and that Russia is not responsible for this situation. Peskov said, "In the field of arms control and strategic stability, a significant void is currently being formed, and of course it is preferable to urgently fill it through new international laws to regulate this situation." He added, "This is in the interest of the entire world, and for that to happen we need established bilateral relations with a full range of countries, which is currently lacking, and this is not our fault."
