Russia: We Thwarted Ukrainian "Terrorist Schemes"

The Russian Federal Security Service reported on Monday that it "thwarted a series of sabotage and terrorist schemes from Ukraine targeting Moscow-backed officials in Russian-controlled areas of Ukraine, and arrested a woman as part of an ongoing investigation." The agency stated in a release that "the attacks were aimed at Russian law enforcement officials and government officials appointed by Russia in the Zaporizhia region of southern Ukraine." It declared that it opened criminal cases against a woman whose name was not disclosed, describing her as "complicit in matters related to terrorism and illegal possession of explosives."
