Wall Street Opens Lower Due to Decline in Bank Stocks

Major indexes on Wall Street opened lower on Friday, impacted by a decline in bank sector stocks, while investors are evaluating the wage growth data for February in search of indicators for the path the Federal Reserve will take regarding future interest rate hikes. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 69.72 points, or 0.22%, to 32,185.14 points. The S&P 500 began trading down by 5.55 points, or 0.14%, to 3,912.77 points. The Nasdaq Composite dropped by 12.99 points, or 0.11%, at the opening to 11,325.36 points.
