Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian confirmed today that his country does not consider preconditions regarding the prisoner exchange with the United States, adding that it is "ready for that on humanitarian grounds." In this context, he revealed during a phone call with his Omani counterpart Badr al-Busaidi that "messages have been exchanged with the United States through Oman and Qatar regarding the prisoner file." Furthermore, he affirmed Tehran's welcome of "diplomatic initiatives that help lift U.S. sanctions on the country."
