The U.S. Department of State announced today, Monday, that the U.S. Special Envoy for Yemen, Tim Lenderking, has begun his visit to Oman and Saudi Arabia in an effort to advance peace efforts in Yemen. The department stated in a statement that Lenderking will meet with officials from Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and other international partners.
