Russian Attack Destroys Infrastructure in Ukrainian Port

Ukrainian Agriculture Minister Mykola Solskyi reported on Wednesday that a significant portion of the grain export infrastructure at the Chornomorsk port in the Odesa region was damaged due to a Russian attack. He added that the attack also destroyed 60,000 tons of grain at the port, which was scheduled for loading and shipping under a grain export agreement in the Black Sea that was established 60 days ago. Solskyi stated, "The night attack took a large part of the grain export infrastructure at the Chornomorsk port out of service." Russia has carried out attacks on Odesa and nearby Chornomorsk following its withdrawal from the grain agreement on Monday, which previously allowed for the secure export of Ukrainian grain via the Black Sea. Ukraine claimed that these attacks deliberately targeted the port infrastructure and grain export docks.
