South Korean President to Visit Saudi Arabia and Qatar This Month

According to the Yonhap news agency on Thursday, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol will visit Saudi Arabia and Qatar from October 21 to 26 to discuss security issues related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Yonhap reported that Yoon's security advisor Kim Tae-hyo stated that South Korea is deeply concerned about the sharp increase in civilian casualties due to the conflict and will provide aid for purely humanitarian reasons. Kim added that Yoon will also discuss cooperation with Saudi Arabia and Qatar, focusing on achieving peace in the region and enhancing South Korea's national security.
