Second Convoy Enters Egyptian Side of Rafah Crossing Heading to Gaza Soon

Security and relief sources in Rafah reported that a second convoy of aid trucks entered the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing today, Sunday, and is undergoing inspection before entering the Gaza Strip. It was noted that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) inspected about 19 trucks loaded with medical and food supplies. Yesterday, Saturday, the first convoy of 20 trucks loaded with much-needed aid entered Gaza. The Rafah crossing had previously stopped operating due to shelling on the Palestinian side and amid controversy regarding the conditions for delivering aid.
