Developments in the South Between General Aoun and a British Military Delegation

Army Commander General Joseph Aoun welcomed today, Wednesday, at his office in Yarzeh, the Senior Defense Advisor for the Middle East, Marshal Martin SAMPSON, in the presence of the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish COWELL, accompanied by Military Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Lee Richard SAUNDERS. They discussed the general situation in the country and developments along the southern border.
