During a lecture given last month, the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, William Burns, was asked about his expectations for Wagner's leader after his rebellion against the Russian president. He stated: "Putin is someone who generally thinks that revenge is a dish best served cold... in my experience, Putin is the ultimate apostle of retribution. So I would be surprised if Prigozhin escapes further revenge for this."
