Anis overcame a set deficit to win against Bianca Andreescu on Saturday, but she faced no such issues today as she won the first set in just 22 minutes with little resistance. Her crafty short shots and changes in speed and angles posed significant problems for the 2011 and 2014 Wimbledon champion. The ninth-seeded Czech player briefly rallied in the second set, but Anis finished the match superbly in her favor. Anis stated about facing Rybakina, "It will be a tough match."
